Anti-slip base

It stays where you put it, on wood and on tile.

He picks. Not you.

Some evenings he goes under the hood and disappears. Some evenings he sprawls on top of it with his chin on the rim. The zipper is the only thing that changes, and it takes a second.

Light, soft, and warm.

There is no firm core in this bed and nothing is layered. It is one fiber-filled body, soft the whole way through.

Light

You can lift it with one hand. He can push into it and it moves with him instead of holding its shape against him.

Soft

PP cotton fill, soft the whole way through. No firm core, nothing layered, nothing to sink past.

Warm

Zipped up it traps warmth without adding weight. That is what a burrowing dog goes under the duvet for.

Soft the whole way through.

One fiber-filled body. No firm core, nothing layered, nothing to sink past. It is a warm bed, not a support bed.

The hood folds back

Unzip it and the hood folds onto the rim. It stays attached, so there is nothing to lose and nothing to put back on.

PP cotton is polyester fiberfill. Fiber fill loses volume over time — brushing it weekly keeps it fuller for longer.

Zipped up it is a den. Folded back it is a cuddler.

The hood unzips and folds back onto the rim. It does not come off, so there is nothing to lose and nothing to put back on.

The anti-slip underside keeps the bed steady on hardwood, tile, and laminate — even during an enthusiastic landing.

The whole bed goes in the machine.

Not just a cover you wrestle off and back on. The hood, the base, all of it washes together. Wash it only when it needs it — every wash is hard on the weave and on the fill. Cold, under 86°F. Air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

He goes under the blanket every night.

The reviews that matter are the ones describing behaviour. Here is what people write about after a month.

He always slept jammed down the back of the sofa. Since the Small arrived he walks straight past it. He has not gone back there once.

Otis · Miniature dachshund · 3 yrs · 11 lbs

We folded the hood back in the warm months and he kept sleeping in it. Zipped up again in the fall, he went straight under.

Pepper · Australian shepherd · 6 yrs · 48 lbs

I went by her weight, not her breed. The Medium was right. She lies flat out in it, which she never did in the old one.

Nell · French bulldog · 2 yrs · 24 lbs

He rolled in something on a walk. The whole Large went in the machine, not just a cover. It was back down by evening and he got straight in.

A Corgi asleep in the grey bed with the hood folded back

He is not hiding from you. He is denning.

Under the duvet, behind the sofa, into the darkest corner of the room. A covered bed answers something he already does every evening, and he stops tracking the room once he is under it.

Go by weight, not breed.

The walls are four to five inches thick, so the outside measurement is not what he lies on. The sleeping area is the figure to check.

If your dog's weight falls between two sizes, size up. Inches and lbs.

The questions we actually get.

Still not sure? Tell us what he weighs and how he sleeps, and we will answer it ourselves.

Does the cover come off for washing?

No, and that is on purpose. The whole bed is machine washable, so there is no cover to remove, lose, or fight back on. It is not a frequent wash — a few times a year, not a few times a month. Every wash is hard on the weave and on the fill. Cold under 86°F. Air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

Is the hood safe? Will he overheat under it?

The hood is soft and breathable, and he can push out whenever he wants. If you would rather leave it open, unzip it and it folds back onto the rim.

What is inside it?

PP-cotton fill inside a textured woven cover and a plush lining.

Will it slide on hard floors?

The underside is anti-slip across the whole base, so it stays where you put it.

How do I pick a size?

Go by weight, not breed. Small up to 20 lbs, Medium up to 30, Large up to 38, X-Large up to 58. If he stretches out or falls between two sizes, size up.

What colors are there?

Grey and brown.

Warm in winter, or too warm in summer?

Zip the hood up for a covered den in the cold months. Fold it back for an open cuddler when it is warm.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 8 to 9 business days.

Two beds. One zipper.

Give him somewhere to go.

Zipped up on the cold nights, folded back in July. Go by weight, and size up if he is between two.
