Does the hood come off?
No. It unzips and folds back onto the rim, so the den becomes an open cuddler. It stays attached either way, which means there is nothing to lose and nothing to put back on.
Which size does my dog need?
Go by weight, not breed. If he is between two sizes, size up. Check the sleeping area rather than the outside measurement — the walls are four to five inches thick, so a 30-inch bed gives him 22 inches to lie on.
How do I wash it?
The whole bed goes in the machine, not just a cover. It is not a frequent wash — a few times a year, not a few times a month. Every wash is hard on the weave and on the fill, so brush it weekly and spot clean in between. Cold, gentle, air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
What is it filled with?
PP cotton, which is polyester fiberfill. One fiber-filled body, soft the whole way through, with no firm core and nothing layered. It is a warm bed, not a support bed.
Will it slide on wood floors?
No. The base is anti-slip and it stays where you put it, on wood and on tile.
What if he will not use it?
Send it back and we refund it. Some dogs take a week to go in the first time, which is why the window is long enough to find out.
Can I return it?
